Hi there! I'm Jenni Hotchkiss, recently graduated from Birmingham City University with my BA Honours in Textile Design.

I specialise in couture embroidery textiles, using an expressive  style within my work to create emotive pieces.  I love to experiment with various techniques to create detailed embroidery, particularly by hand with beading, silk shading, or digitally with free-machine and Wilcom digital embroidery. However I am comfortable with/mastering the use of goldwork wires and tambour beading.

Photography is a source of inspiration for me, often setting dark or emotive moods to push forward deeper concepts to apply to .

This year I will complete my MA in Textile and Surface Design, in order to continue building my strong personal style and expanding my technical knowledge.
